President - Mr Neil A. Baines
Neil is also the President of Platinum Investment Corporation, which specialises in locating and developing resorts. They do this globally; normally selling once planning has been approved. Neil is so impressed with the potential at Flamingo Lakes that he has decided to break with tradition and develop this site himself. He is the founder and inspiration behind Platinum Yucatan Resorts. His past history includes operating and developing companies involved in leisure and resort development worldwide, but mainly concentrating on Spain, Bahamas, and the South Americas. Neil has specialised in locating leisure resorts for over 25 years.
Chief Executive Officer - Mr David D. Cross
Until recently, David was the Chairman and Co-owner of DCG Group Ltd, a United Kingdom company that owns and operates golf courses in the U.K. He was so impressed with Flamingo Lakes that he sold his interests in the Group and reinvested it in Platinum Yucatan Resorts. His past history includes forming and developing D C Leisure, one of the UK's largest and most highly respected leisure management companies. In 15 years he took this company from conception to operating 105 sites with a turnover of some £78 million pounds sterling, employing over 6,000 staff. He sold this company in 2003 to its management team. On leaving D C Leisure, as well as investing in golf, he formed with others an overseas property company that specialises in holiday homes on Crete. Three sites are currently under construction. David still owns four golf courses in the UK of which Camberley Heath Golf Club is his flagship. With vast experience in golf, leisure and property construction, he is the ideal person to lead the operations of the company.
Legal Director and General Counsel - Jose Luis Flores Cortes
Graduated from Law School at the Autonomous University of Yucatán and has a Master's degree in International Relations by Ohio State University. Mr. Flores has also given lectures on Tariff Classification, on the North American Free Trade Agreement and on Customs Law. Litigator of Lexcorp in Mérida and Mexico City; Assistant Director of Fiscal Audits in Foreign Trade at SHCP; Assistant Director of Resolutions and/or Administration Resources at SHCP; specialist on Foreign Trade at SHCP; auditing lawyer at SHCP; specialist on Agrarian Law and Administrative Procedures, Immigration, Foreign Investment and Corporate Law.
Finance Director - Mr Craig Dyce
After leaving University with a BA (Hons) degree in Economics, Craig trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in London. He then moved into a commercial environment with PGA European Tour Courses Plc where he managed a group of high quality golf and residential resorts across Europe. This role involved significant experience of the business development of golf, hotel and residential projects from planning, construction and start-up through to operation. These resorts included Quinta do Lago on the Algarve, PGA Golf de Catalunya near Barcelona and Woburn Golf and Country Club in England. Now aged 39, he has worked for the last three years with David Cross developing, amongst other projects, a successful real estate venture on Crete. This role has involved raising funding and working closely with selling agents. Craig is ideally qualified and experienced for this senior role within the company.
Development Director - Mr Chris Sebire
Chris is an experienced and highly respected fourth generation property developer. Chris’s forte being in the master planning of estates and the delivery of architectural excellence, both external and internal. Whilst most of his career has been in the United Kingdom he has in recent years been involved with projects throughout Europe.
Commercial Director - Mr Mark Jeffery
Mark spent fifteen years at the forefront of the international sports marketing and media business. During this time he lead a very successful American Cup sales and marketing campaign. Recently he has been involved with real estate sales across Europe specialising in holiday and investment property located in coastal resort destinations.
